AfriConnect offer the best broadband internet connectivity available in Zambia. But we also provide a wide range of value added services, including:
iMail and cPanel
Free email addresses for all fixed-payment clients, with the option of webmail and back-office collaboration software. For those who register a domain with us we offer full control of your email users; web space; FTP access and online storage.
Hosting services
Options for hosting servers in our high-specification secure server rooms, with fully redundant power and temperature-control facilities. The servers are connected directly to the internet backbone for local and international traffic.
Account Management
We provide you with full control over your iConnect account, including the ability to pay online; change your service level; top up usage allowance; check your statements; and see what use you ave been making of the internet.
Fibre links
A direct fibre optic link into South Africa, as well as ones to Europe. This automatically ensures that all internet traffic to there is dealt with by the fastest possible route. Packet return times are around 100ms, ensuring very fast back-office, banking and other applications.
Fast Google and YouTube
AfriConnect host the Google and YouTube caches for Zambia, meaning almost instant access when searching or viewing.
iControl
All corporate level customers are provided with a free iControl device to help them manage their bandwidth. This small router/firewall provides various levels of content filtering to prevent inappropriate or time-wasting use of the internet, along with reports of who is ding what, and provision of quality of service parameters. This can lead to significant cost savings.
Free home connections
Also for corporate customers we offer the option of free internet connections at home for senior management so that they can continue working at their convenience.
PAYG for staff
For all organisations we have a facility for you to provide low-cost pay-as-you-go internet service at homes of your staff, with surf-time allowance provided to them each month, and the ability for them to top-up further bandwidth if they need it
iSpot for your business
As well as internet for your business, residential complex, lodge, cafe, or other more public space we offer our iSpot service, where AfriConnect will cover some of the up-front costs with the ability for you to make money on ticket sales.
iSMS
We offer a wide range of business services to reach those 3.5m people who have mobile phones in Zambia, including those beyond the reach of the internet. See the iSMS business website.
iCare
We have a support centre that is open from 7hrs to 23hrs 7 days a week. Based around a call centre with full triage and mobile support with additional care for corporate cilents, we are there to ensure that your internet experience is uninterrupted.
Zambia's Growth
We are committed to Zambia's growth and development. We run a rural service in Namwala; supply services to Macha; and are planning a wider rural roll out, in addition to our 16 more urban locations.
Developing the web
We also strive to create Zambian web content to ensure that there is more value to people being connected. We have developed web sites for all provincial capitals, and in the health sector. AfriConnect begun the work on the iSchool eLearning portal. That has now been spun off to a new company to roll-out on a large scale.

As our network grows further we offer MPLS services - to provide quality of service over the public internet - for those looking to become part of quality global networks.
